Operations Associate

Electronic circuit boards are at the core of current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. Yet today designing an electronic circuit board is an extremely manual, long and tedious process. At Circuit Mind we believe that this is wrong and we are on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design. To achieve its mission, Circuit Mind has created a library of electronic component digital twins. Each digital twin models the data of the component’s datasheet. These digital twins are then utilised by Circuit Mind’s platform to generate circuit designs that align with user specifications.

We are creating an entirely new software engine for circuit boards, that takes as inputs the requirements of a circuit board and automatically outputs a complete design, ready for manufacture.

The Role

We are in search of a highly organised, proactive, and resourceful Operations Associate with a proven track record of at least 3 years in relevant roles. In this individual contributor role, you will take ownership of responsibilities across multiple company functions such as hiring, accounting, sales & marketing ops, legal, people operations, general admin.

You'll be collaborating on a day-to-day basis with our CEO Tomide and our CTO Basilio. Then the sky is your limit: the more you show you can deal with, the bigger responsibilities you will take over time.

Responsibilities

These are the company functions you’ll be working on:

  • Hiring:  Overseeing candidate sourcing, managing an internal team of part-time head hunters, leading screening interviews and employee onboarding.
  • Accounting: Handling R&D tax credits and payroll payments, assisting with bookkeeping (accurately storing receipts), overseeing that management and company accounts are reported.
  • Sales and Events: Overseeing trade show preparations including employee travel, itinerary and content/materials, managing customer lead generation: from trade-shows, website inbound and research, tailoring generic sales decks to suit specific customer needs.
  • Legal: Managing EMI options, share registers, and issuance of share certificates, reviewing and adapting legal documents (NDAs, subscription agreements, employment contracts, and offer letters), facilitating overseas employment via third-party agencies, inclusive of drafting custom IP agreements
  • Marketing: Applying for awards, trade shows, accelerator programs, seeking out and applying for funding and innovation program opportunities
  • People and Admin: Organizing company socials, events, and company retreats, managing employee data, coordinating offboarding

You will also have the option to develop longer-term into any of the business functions that you will be working across, either working on more in-depth or on bigger projects within that function or working in a similarly broad role but a part of a bigger team.

Minimum Qualifications

We are seeking an Operations Associate who:

  • Has 3+ years of hands-on experience - preferably in a product-driven organisation
  • Is proactive and highly organized
  • Can champion our core values of continuous learning, drive and commitment, assured humility, and critical thinking
  • Finds excitement in diversity of tasks and skilfully manages multiple responsibilities
  • Is driven to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness across all domains
  • Is adept at understanding technical concepts coupled with a keen sense of business acumen
  • Is a versatile and swift learner

If this sounds like you, we can't wait to connect with you!

Benefits

  • Collaboration with friendly world-class team.
  • Above market rate salary and meaningful equity.
  • 25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working hours, with two days a week in the office.

  • London Bridge office.
  • Extended parental leave.
  • Learning and development budget to support your professional development.
