Electronic circuit boards are at the core of current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. Yet today designing an electronic circuit board is an extremely manual, long and tedious process. At Circuit Mind we believe that this is wrong and we are on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design.

We are creating an entirely new software engine for circuit boards, that takes as inputs the requirements of a circuit board and automatically outputs a complete design, ready for manufacture.

Your Mission

As Circuit Mind’s Chief Electronic Engineer, your mission will be to drive the evolution of our AI-powered electronics design platform by guiding our algorithms, software, and electronics teams to deliver on our core mission: automating professional electronic design at scale.

You will shape the technical direction of how our platform understands, generates, and validates real-world electronic designs, and drive the successful adoption of our technology on customer projects across industries such as aerospace & defence, consumer electronics, semiconductors and industrial systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Roadmap Leadership: Define and maintain the technical roadmap for Circuit Mind’s AI-powered electronics design platform in collaboration with leadership and product management. Ensure each release advances our ability to generate high-quality, production-ready designs for key industries and customer segments.
• Product Feature Specification: Collaborate with product engineers to translate design challenges into clearly documented specifications for new product functionality that solves user problems and expands the platform’s design generation capability
• Feature Prioritisation: Work with Circuit Mind’s leadership and product teams to prioritise product features aligning technical development with customer value, revenue potential, and target market impact
• Solution Architecture & Development: Lead cross-functional workshops with Circuit Mind’s algorithm and software teams on how to develop the Circuit Mind platform to generate optimised designs accurately at a professional level
• Data Model Evolution: Collaborate with Circuit Mind’s data team to expand and refine Circuit Mind’s digital component information representation (digital twin) to enable accurate and flexible design generation.
• AI Assisted Design Projects for Customers: Lead and perform AI-assisted customer projects with the customer success team, using Circuit Mind’s platform to demonstrate faster, higher quality design outcomes than the traditional manual design process
• New Product Exploration: Explore and test new product directions where Circuit Mind can use AI and automation to create value for end customers and users

Qualifications

• 15+ years performing electronics design across the entire product lifecycle
• Experience leading electronics design teams
• Keen interest in AI, new tools and new methodologies
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non electronic engineers
